Tea Parties and Left Wing Windbags

Those evil dangerous right wing extremist nutcases actually think that government spending has become too high and Government growth and authority has breached the legal limits outlined in the constitution -- like, who do they think they are!? The nerve. It's a good thing that most media outlets pretended the protests (and point of view) didn't exist and finally, when they did report on the issue, they practiced confrontational and dishonest editorializing.

Why couldn't the protesters have been like all those kind and peaceful protesters against Bush and capitalism and just denigrated the United States and expressed their love for authoritarian thugs (i.e. Che, Mao, et al.)? Then they could have been refered to as "a cross-section of society."

It's good to know that we're now at least safe from the dangers of tax protests because, as most know by now, the Department of Homeland security (under new management) now defines belief in limited government and more localized government to be signs of potential domestic terrorism. It's good to know that Mohammad's franchise is no longer a concern and that the real danger actually lies in those who still honor the ideals of America's founding documents.

"Shut Up!"

This is so great! (Scroll down a bit to the the video clip of Andrew Klavan).

Obama Is "The Only Thing Standing Between [civilized constitutional society] and The Pitchforks"

The People's Cube is always a treat of hilarity and disarming wit.

Occasionally their commentary takes on a more serious tone. This is a downright scholarly piece loaded with interesting information for those who appreciate the history of the former Soviet Union and Socialist "revolution" in general. I've pasted a few segments from this very informative and insightful essay below:

"In a balanced society, an angry mob is never a part of the equation. But if the goal is to throw a capitalist society off balance in order to change it, an angry mob is the ticket. Anger is known to be the easiest and the most effective tool of crowd manipulation. Angry mobs cancel out the rule of law. Infusing anger into a community and turning it into an angry mob, canceling out the rule of law, and changing the balance in a society - this is what community organizers do for a living."...

..."In the absence of economic incentives, the stagnant and unproductive industries could only be run by threats and intimidation. Those who think that the Soviet system was an aberration of socialism, please consider that it had been consistent with the principles of equality and the common good. Stalin's reign of terror was merely an inevitable end result of a collectivist Utopian theory that contradicted human nature, vilifying people for "greed" and "selfishness," which were mere manifestations of their individuality, and punishing the desire to be free from state-run slavery."...

'Definitely couldn't have said it better myself.

"A Short Economics Lesson"

From Dissecting Leftism.
An excellent example of how socialism "works" (doesn't work):

"A Short Economics Lesson"

"An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said ok, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism.

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too; so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great; but when government takes all the reward away; no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that...."

Why do people still fall for the great imposed equality scam?
